Paul Reardon

Event Photographer

After a long career in IT, Paul Reardon’s passions are now photography and local history. In the context of photography, his particular focus is on people and occasions, paying attention to the story unfolding and capturing it with his camera. Capturing how artists engage with audiences influences how he conveys the excitement of live performances in photographs that will endure. Above all, he really enjoys chatting with and having the craic with event audiences, finding that a bit of humour and easy conversation helps him capture more natural and lively shots.

Paul organises city walking tours that concentrate on the vibrant history of Drumcondra and enjoys engaging with local historians.

Paul brings his love of stories both past and present into play in his event photography, as he mixes observation with storytelling, creating images that reflect both the feel of an event and its wider cultural importance.
